Crowd Buddy on BB2

I have the New Beat Buddy 2 - - how do I access the “Crowd Buddy”?? - to be able to use it once I end the drum pattern or pause to end…

I found Crowd Buddy in the Drum sets….but what is next… Thank you

The instructions at Introducing CrowdBuddy! might be helpful.

Thanks - but I am not good with the BBM - - and the SD card that came with BB2 has “Crowd Buddy” as a drum set… hoping to keep it simple using the Singular Sound SD card somehow to access this feature….

I’m not sure that there is a simple method of using just the SD card to take advantage of the CrowdBuddy sounds.

If you aren’t using the BBM Online (not the BeatBuddy Manager (BBM)), you might find it much easier to add CrowdBuddy sounds as an Accent Hit to one of your songs.

Here’s how simple it is using the BBMO:

  • click on the blue font; it’s a link to a folder with the samples of each CrowdBuddy sound: “For convenience here are all the CrowdBuddy sounds for download
  • unzip the Final Samples (Normalized) folder to your desktop
  • preview the individual crowd sound until you find one you would like to add to a song as an Accent hit (if you’re on a Mac you can preview one of the sounds by selecting it and then pressing the space bar on your keyboard)
  • open the BBMO and select a song where you want the crowd sound
  • drag the file of the selected crowd sound from the folder to the accent position in the BBMO

  • save your BBMO project
  • press the accent button on the pedal emulator; if you need to adjust the volume of the sound using the little speaker icon in the BBMO

On the BeatBuddy Manager (BBM) it’s almost, but not quite as easy:

  • with the BBM open, select a song
  • within the song, click on the Accent Hit section
  • navigate to your Final Samples folder and select one of the crowd sounds; press Open
  • save your project
  • test it using the Play button for the Accent Hit

Thank you. I will give it a try
