Has anyone questioned why BB2 can’t have multiple Accent Hit assigned to the Super Switch?

I haven’t noticed the option of assigning multiple Accent Hits onto the Super Switch in the BB2 settings. If the option is there, I still haven’t found it yet. It seems odd to have an extra six or more switches and not be able to assign a Crash And a Clap or a “Booooo”!!! to the Super Switch. Also, I had an Accent hit that said “Booo, you suck, get of the stage”. I seem to have lost that Accent Hit. Does anyone remember that Accent Hit and where it came from? I’d like it back.

The option is there: Settings / Multiswitch 1 / Port 1/

now press Drum Set button over the nut icon

Select Switch action [1-6] with the Tempo button, then select when do you desire to perform the action (for example, While Stopped)

You’re searching for the last action of the list: MIDI Notes (Accent Hits). Just assign the note you want for each FS.

Hmm, okey. Thank you. I will try that. Ed, are you the same guy that made the best wireless MIDI controller for the HX Effects for I Pad?

I guess it must be me! But I’ve also made some for the Beatbuddy and the Aeros, if you’d like to take a look: https://ed-saxman.gumroad.com/

@Ed_Saxman, It say for “IPad”. My old IPad updates maxed out at version10. Is that sufficient? Also, the Midi Designer App works on my newer “IPhone”. Is it cross compatible with both devices?

Do you mean iOS 10, released in 2016? iOS version by device — iOS Ref

Not sure if you still can get MDP for such vintage device, but in case you could, I also have a non-public 32-bit version running on a Ipad Air (first gen, 2013, running iOS 12).

It is, but the layout is designed for iPad. It would work by scrolling on the screen, which is probably not the most convenient option.

A standard iPad is pretty cheap nowadays, and much cheaper second-hand. It doesn’t have to be the latest model either.

Oh I thought the last update on my iPad was 10.5 on my iPad. It turns out the last update was iOS version 12.5.7.

Well, If you can still get MDP from the App Store on that iPad, or if you already had it installed previously, then it would be possible to use the 32-bit version of my Aeros template.

This 32-bits version is not currently included or even published, but if you purchase my Aeros layout (made for 64-bits devices), let me know and I will send it to you privately.

I did not include it in the package because I would only be able to maintain it until my first-generation iPad Air dies.

With the Beatbuddy layout, the opposite is true: it is still 32-bit, so it would work in any new or older device. When there are new MIDI features for the BB2, I may consider a 64-bit redesign.
