Hello - my beatbuddy suddenly stopped sending midi. My interface shows a solid midi signal light instead of flashing with each signal. I reinstalled the firmware but am out of ideas.
It receives midi fine and I had it working for weeks before this… Obviously have tried all midi channels and settings.
Could it be a cable issue? Or other outboard equipment? Shooting in the dark, here…
That’s my gut feeling just dont want to have to fork out 80 dollars for a midi cable yet…
Hey there, unfortunately, it could be a cable causing this, the only way to know is with another working cable! Maybe a buddy can lend you one before you make any investment
It is not common for this to happen but you can try out the latest firmware 4.0.1 and if updating again doesn’t fix it, it is likely a hardware issue.
