If you don’t already have the kits active in your BBMO or BBM, yes, you will have to import the kits and then check that each song from the folder has the assigned kit linked to that song.
The challenge is that you won’t know which kits are required until you actually load the folder or the songs. For this particular situation, you might be better off importing the folder into the BBM which at least identifies the title of the kit. If it’s active, all’s well. If it’s not active, it will display an * in front of the kit’s name.
For most of my songs, when you bring them up, you’ll also see the kit I used. You might need to import a few kits if you don’t have them. Of course you can try different kits to find one that you like.
When you click on the song to “play” it, you’ll see the kit I used. If it ends in an asterisk (*), you’ll have to do a search in the forum for that kit and import it.
One thing… the majority of my songs are in the OUTRO. That way they do t loop. When I was gigging, it was easier to have the song end rather than me having to tap the external switch to cut the song. The other band members were appreciative.
Ok… first, OPB+KYBDS+FIDDLE_FINAL is just name that I gave that section, not a kit name. The kit name appears on the top of the pane (see photos). You need to look down the list of kits to see if you have it or if its asterisked. Your kits appear in the same pane as your song list, there’s a tab for drum kits.
See that little arrow in the section label? Use that to play the section. It’ll begin playing. At that point you can use the controls above for temp, trying different kits etc.
By the way, are you using BBM (software that came with the pedal) or BBMO (online version)? Same ideas, just looks different.
so i’m downloading the missing kits files (wow) and i downloaded the batch 3 files. should i also do batch 1 and 2? Are there other places that the kits for these songs are?
