Anyone had a problem, having edited a song with modified and added tracks, saving the song fails to update the saved project. There is no indication that the save has failed and the save button becomes inactive as it would at the completion of the save operation, but reopening the song returns it to the unedited state.
The above has now occurred for me on multiple occasions
where are you opening your project from (computer or SD card)
NOTE:, you should be working on your project from your computer and not your SD card. If it’s on your computer, it will help them to know the path to your project folder. Best practice seems to be to keep your project folder on your desktop. Some (but not all) macOS users reported problems when their BeatBuddy (BB) project folder was on the iCloud (for some, it caused latency issues leading to incomplete transfers of data).
So apart from the file opening error everything appears to be working. I was able to modify one of the songs that had previously failed to save, and then save it successfully and export all of the new midi files, however the previous failure didn’t occur every time I saved the updated project so we’ll have to see what happens after a few more tries.
Was there a change made to the beta to fix a project saving problem, or is this suggestion purely speculative?
