Songs on the Forum but not on the Singular Sound Song matching tool

Hi team, I’ve noticed different songs scattered throughout the Forum, that are not listed on the Singular Sound Song matching tool or on BeatBuddy Song List site.

Is there a reason for this and also is there a quick way to find songs that are for the unadulterated BeatBuddy, e.g. that use the standard drum kits that come with the BeatBuddy.

I mean I’d love to venture into the Bass world, but I need to master the Drum world of the BeatBuddy first.

If they’re here on the forum, they probably don’t need to be posted to the database of the Song Matching Tool.

Although there are different methods, a way to work up your own beats could be to

  • enter your song name to get the bpm here: https://songbpm.com/searches/abdb7716-426d-42f6-900b-b312e0a72708
  • listen to the song on Youtube so you get a feel for the drums pattern
  • audition beats in either the Blues or Country genre folders to find a similar drums pattern
  • edit the beat until you get a reasonable version of the song

Thanks persist, that is basically what I have been doing, but because I come from a land down under, we have a lot of songs that simply don’t make it to the Forum or the Son Matching tool and whilst I can work out a reasonable beat to match the song, most of the time, I am constantly searching for the songs. Probably to validate what I have made, but also where I just cannot decide on the right beat.
Don’t get me wrong, this is by far the best resource I’ve found, but there are so many songs that I have found that are not suitable for the BeatBuddy, out of the box, they are Bass versions. One day I will get there.

You can always post your requests for beats here on the forum or to the Facebook group. @renevmind has always been quite helpful.

It would be nice to have one place to look for a song, not two.

The song matching tool is going to be used by many people that would not otherwise search this forum. Would be great if that tool could have a link to the content here.

Hi Persist, I’m having difficulties finding the Drum Kits. For example, I’m looking at Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls and it suggests v2 OPB______________SUB-Std Pro PL Bass 0-31

Where can I find “SUB-Std Pro PL Bass 0-31” I have checked the link on the main page, but there is nothing in there that matches.

Are these Drum Kits hidden somewhere else?
