This is a reposting of the STAX O’SAX 2 kit. The drum kit had several open spaces, and plenty of room to add a couple more single shots - 35 Kick, 45 Tom, 50, Tom and 58 Shaker. Other than that, it is the same kit that was up on the old Forum.
As the drum did consist of single shots from the the Logic So-Cal kit, I considered replacing drums with the multi-sampled Motown Revisited kit, but the tone differences were significant. I decided to keep the original tones.

When I use this kit (stax o’sax 2) with Baker Street it sounds like a sax in BBMO but sounds like a midi keyboard when loaded on the BeatBuddy2. Any ideas how to fix this?
I don’t know how or why it would be doing that . I do not have a BB2 to try to replicate your issue. I am working on rebuilding some of my songs. This is on my list to get to in the near future, but I do have some paid work to finish first.
Can you verify that the BB2 is using the correct kit when you are playing Baker Street? I ask because it sounds like the BB2 may not be loading the correct kit with the song.
Thanks for the reply Phil. Yes, I verified the drumkit was correct. Reloaded it, formatted card, tried everything I can think of. Just weird because it sounds fine in BBMO but when I export to SD card, it plays a different sound for the sax. Drums and piano are fine, just the sax sound. Could it be an issue with the Sax sounds being in the higher midi numbers?
No, that doesn’t make any difference. I’ll take a look at the kit tomorrow morning to see if there are any flaws. If I have different sax samples made, I’ll try replacing the ones in the kit. Like, I said, this was already on my to do list,
Download, unzip. This is STAX O’SAX 3a. This is the same as STAX O’SAX 2, with the sax samples replaced. I label is as 3a, as it is a first revision, that will not be the final STAX O’SAX 3.
Try this kit, instead. I’ll be refining it further when I work on the redo to Baker Street. I believe the original sax samples were made from Garritan Jazz Band. These are made with Kontakt and the Sensual Sax instrument from Embertone. As I progress in this music maker journey, I acquire better more refined tools and skills. I see quite a bit of room for improvement in my Baker Street song, and in the kit. This will be the first step.
