Based on the timing you posted your problem could be related to the (Android) app 1.8.0 update that seems to cause this eeprom invalid to stuck.

Update of 1.8.0 When I connected the BT for the update, EPROM INVALID. Impossible to get out of there. I think I tried everything following the advice of the Forum.
