Superswitch doesn't do anything with BB 2

The new Beatbuddy 2 arrived. It sounds good. However, the Superswitch doesn’t appear to do anything, neither does my old Footswitch +. They are both plugged into the switch plugs on the lower right side with the correct cables. Does the switching have to be initiated in some way?

If I plug and unplug them with the Beatbuddy switched on then weird things happen, but they don’t do anything when they’re fully plugged in.

I haven’t had any trouble with mine. You have to pick the footswitch, or superswtich in the settings (press drum and tempo together). You can configure what the buttons do there as well. If that didn’t work, support should have the answer.

Great, thanks for the help! :slightly_smiling_face:

Please make sure EXP is not configured in the IN that you use with your superswitch

Was this a false positive, did this get resolved I just ordered mine?

There was no resolution necessary as there was no bug!

The BeatBuddy 2 has to be set to respond to the SuperSwitch, by default multiport 1 is set to work with the Footswitch +, and multiport 2 is set to EXP.

Once you set the SuperSwitch to be the primary option, you can use it normally.

There was no bug. The BB2 is much more configurable than the BB1 and so you need to tell it what you’re plugging into those ports. It’s a good feature.
