Hi Guys. Just wondering if anyone has ever played U2’s song “40” at Church. Its basically their version of Psalms 40 in the bible. very cool song if you havent heard it.
Its off their ‘War’ album. (last song).
So so powerful
here’s the live version with lyrics (they do improve so its not the same as the CD version):
One of my all time fave songs. Always makes me cry
Here is the original version with lyrics.
Its a nice and short song (2:30 or so) which would be perfect for a worship team and to get the congregation to sing along with the “How long…to sing this song…” part.

Also a great drum beat song. Wonder if anyone knows which BB beat could be used or if anyone has one for this song??
Let me know. Thanks
Enjoy
I hope this isn’t too off topic. I’m looking at getting a beatbuddy for worship at our church. The band at the moment has a couple of singers and someone who plays keys. I tend to play guitar or bass, but wondered if you had to pick either guitar or bass in the setup which you would choose? I played bass in a previous church as the band setup lacked depth, but I don’t actually own any bass kit of my own.
Thanks
^^
FWIW, I would not buy a bass if you do not have one. Why not? MIDI source files for the BeatBuddy can be transcribed to play any combination of drums with or without bass or other instruments. I would make the decision based on availability of the BB content available to you with or without bass. Easier to work up songs today that includes bass rather than guitar because of the saturation of kits with bass in the Resources/Drum Kits section of this forum. There are so far 2 kits with guitar.
Hey man
I think it depends only on your own comfortability with leading whilst concentrating on something else…i would prefer guitar…then you can lead with vocals and music to go with it
Go to WORLD and then to the last song, Spanish 3/4 then bring the tempo down to 77.
hope this helps.
i’m new at this would help if maybe the tempo you use with the songs
