BUG: BBMO freezes when using Save track as MIDI file on certain Drum Fill(s)

Two users have reported that their browsers freeze when using the BBMO Save track as MIDI file. I am able to replicate their symptoms on my Silicon and Intel Macs

  • Sequoia 15.3b and Catalina 10.15 .
  • Vivaldi and Chrome.
  • This seems to happen with some fills in beats from the Premium Library Content.
  • The issue seems to be intermittent as I could cause the freeze several times in one session, quit the browser, open the BBMO and would then not be able to repeat the symptom. It happened randomly for me.

How to reproduce:

  • Select Shuffle 5 in the Premium Library Content
  • Attempt to Save Track as MIDI file
  • Browser freezes
  • Force browser to quit
  • Try again with the same outcome
  • Force quit browser

20 minutes later

  • Launch BBMO
  • Quit the browser normally
  • Open the BBMO
  • Unable to repeat the symptom of the freezing browser.

ADDITIONAL: I also found that if I were able to Save track as MIDI file, the resulting MIDI file was corrupt and could not be opened in Logic Pro X or Reaper

Note that I only have the standard library and it is doing it to me with the standard Rock 1 intro fill.

Strangely, whenever I see this I can switch the drum kit to the Standard kit. Then the import works. Then I can switch back to whatever the real kit I want is. I noticed this was back when BBMO was still BBBF or whatever.

Thank you for a possible workaround.
