What Church Songs Work with which BB setting?

Your link didn’t work - it threw an error when I clicked on it. I only see non-religious songs in the Resources section although I haven’t done a thorough search. It might be worthwhile having a place to put worship .sng files (noting the cautions from user Psalm40) much like there’s a separate setting listing in the BB Tools section of the website for worship songs.

As an example, I made a beat for ‘The Stand’ combining the beats from two of the stock songs and adding a bunch of lines to match the verses and interludes so that the final two choruses have a much fuller beat than the previous stuff. I’d like a place to post the .sng file that’s clearly set aside for worship songs. Alternatively, BB could add a separate section for custom Worship beats so we could provide links to the files from postings in the Resources section.

Yeah, it would be nice if a new field could be added so that users could categorize the genre or type of music (maybe with a dropdown list to make it easier to select an entry, Rock, Worship, Blues, Jazz, etc). It would be nice to be able to use the existing links instead of creating yet even another link on another site to post and find songs. Kind of underwhelms the utility and value of this forum.

I do see that some users have a worship list on the BeatBuddy Tools and they state which beats and BPM will work by worship song.

There’s room for improvement on this forum and it would be helpful if the BeatBuddy staff stepped up instead of relying on volunteers.

I appreciate your feedback. I’m not trying to duplicate sites, I’m simply compiling my playlists and sharing them with other Worship Leaders.

I’ll update the original artists and remove the Premium Library Content from the SNG files. I want people to purchase and use the Premium Content if it’s best for the song.

I would like to see new songs added to the Worship Song Matching Tool. I’ve submitted some songs a while ago … Still waiting for the updated list.

There are 4 categories in the Resources section. Maybe they could add a 5th “Worship Song” section?

I’d prefer a Worship Beats thread in the Beats section where users upload SNG files (along with Rock, Blues, etc).

Is the Song Matching Tool being managed/updated? The last modified date on the Worship Songs are 7/15/2015.

The resources section is for uploading content, personally I would like to see a section within that given over to Worship Songs.

I asked @Daef once if the manager software could output the details of the songs so we could upload those and users could build the songs from the info provided. Or maybe create a new file format which removed the midi content so when installed it finds the files on the end users device - this would allow the easy sharing of content made with the premium content but only users who have purchased that would be able to use them.
I have now over 100 songs; many created with beats purchased from the premium content library which I can’t share due to copyright.

There’s a separate section in the Library portion of the main website for this kind of info for worship songs but no one seems to be maintaining it.

I’d rather see it in the resources section of the forum and set it up so users could easily add the song info to it.

since I got my beatbuddy the idea keeps popping up that it would be a great opportunity for Churches to “network” via Facebook etc to share settings and ideas for worship.

I’m new to the forum and I’m not sure if this is the right place to post. Please excuse me. I just got my BB a few days ago, and i’m excited. But I was wondering if someone had any beats that are suitable for congregational/devotional songs. The country shuffle is close to what I need, just without the shuffle (double kick). Like the old time camp meeting/rival songs. simple Kick on 1&3, with a nice snare on 2&3. Would anyone recommend any of the library content?

hello…as it pertains to your songlist…the Come Thou Font song, I don’t have or see a “Spanish 3/4”…can you explain what that is? is that a song?

I’m always searching for songs/beats that work for worship services. I appreciate every persons post so we can check out the songs that work…it would be super nice if anyone can post some NEW songs/beats? if you have a running list or have developed new songs/beats please post them so we can add them to our own lists…thanks a lot.
