Hi persist - many thanks for all the great songs you save on this forum. One question on this song, I’m using the NP SuperBassG kit for v2 but the bass notes are flat by about 20 hz - is there any way to fix this on my end?

Thank you for the kind words. Give me a few days and I’ll update the songs in the thread with current (and better sounding) drum sets.

Great - thank you!

Just wondering, are you using the BeatBuddy Manager (BBM) or the BBMO?

I’m in the process of updating the song now however and in the mean time, if you’re using the BBM, delete the song, redownload and import it and try it with the NP StdPBass 63-91 kit and see if it resolves the issue. Let me know, please.

It does sound better on my Mac, but I’ll have to try it through my PA later to be sure. What causes the bass tuning to be off on some kits?

Depending on the version, the BBM had a bug that affected some of the earlier OPB user-created drum sets. When using the BBM, sometimes a user could open the song in the MIDI Editor and then close it w/o changing anything and it would “settle” the errant notes into where they should have been. This works for some but probably not all users.
